5 top trends to follow for the Autumn 2024

A new fashion season is starting and the new collections are arriving in stores. Working with ethical fashion it is interesting to see the upcoming trends. It is important to select the trends which work for you and your lifestyle, and which you will love for longer than one season. Some trends you will love and wear, and some  just ignore and leave for others. In this blogpost I will go through some of the trends we have chosen to embrace in our current collection, arriving now in stores.

NUMBER ONE : EVEYRONE IS JOINING THE CORDUROY WAGON

Corduroy is huge this Autumn. When we visited the showrooms and fairs last spring nearly all brands had jumped into the corduroy wagon. It was then unavoidable - we would also select a lot of corduroy for our collections.

And why not, we know as a fact that there are a lot of huge corduroy fans within our clientele. Plus it is an Autumn classic, you will be able to wear corduroy items season after season. Just give it - and yourself - a little rest during the Summer!

You can already find some corduroy items in our stores and online, but there is a lot still coming.

Jonna dungarees in taupe, €160, Cherry skirt in brown €95, Irregular corduroy skirt in navy €99,95, Irregular corduroy trousers in feather grey €139,95

NUMBER 2: TROUSERS KEEP THEIR POSITION OVER SKIRTS AND DRESSES

You may have noticed it already, it is more difficult to find skirts and dresses in stores, and everyone seems to prefer jeans or other trousers. This trend goes nicely with our need for comfort, a central element of slow fashion and wearability. If you love to wear trousers anyhow this is your golden season, you can find any fit in almost any colour in the current collections.

Combine the trousers boom with corduroy and you are really on trend (if you like).

Leandraa Handraas trousers €139,95, Sandrinaa trousers in moss €119,90,
Hermione trousers in checked fabric €139,90, Waffle everyday pants €159

NUMBER 3: MONOTONE DRESSING

Also a more long term trend is the solid colour trend, we tend to wear less of prints and if we do go for pattern it is often simple stripes or checks. If you appreciate minimalistic style you can go even further and dress in one colour all the way from tip to toe. But do use some imagination and select something else than black this time. Try khaki green, burgundy, navy or deep blue hues...

The good thing is you will not have to use a lot of time to make combinations. Select one or two basic colours and invest in them and you will be ready to go every day.

NUMBER 4: ROLL NECK KNITS & TOPS

This trend goes nicely with the nostalgic vibes of corduroys and velvets. And what is nicer than combining a turtleneck with wide fitted pants or jeans.

If you do not like the turtleneck, you can try a zip collar jumper instead. This you can wear open or closed.

NUMBER 5: DENIM

Our daily best friend, right? Try a new take by testing new fits or going all denim with shirts and bottoms. Timeless and casual to wear practically anywhere.

In this trend you can go freely unisex, combining items from his & her, and lending clothing from your partner or friends.

June boilersuit €170, Sawyer shirt €130, Mairaa jeans €119,90
